Imparting New Vigor to the Mind

Sixteen of us have been meeting twice a week for the last twelve weeks to prepare for our trip to Rome.  We read the story of Romulus and Remus, explored the geography of ancient Rome and examined architectural wonders of the city, studied Roman leaders past and present, talked about religious art and artists, and learned some basic Italian for travelers. Tomorrow, we make our final preparations to travel.  Bellarmine friends and family follow us here as we write about our experiences and share photos from our trip.

The Roman philosopher Seneca is quoted as saying, "Travel and change of place impart new vigor to the mind.” Roamin' Knights what are you most excited about as you anticipate our adventure?
